"I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all of their heart."

Jeremiah 24:7

24:7 started as God gave Parkview Church a vision to reach college students for Christ.

In the early 1990’s there was an increasing heart among the leadership at Parkview to be more intentional to reach out to students at the University of Iowa. As a result, the leadership of the church took steps to start a college ministry in the late 1990’s called 24:7. It started as a small weekly time of worship, but it has grown over the years to include things such as small groups, mission trips, freshmen ministry, and leadership development.

24:7 exists to become a people of God as He gives us the desire to turn to Him and know Him with all of our hearts. Therefore, by his grace, we seek to know him personally and to invite others to return to him with all of their hearts, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. This purpose statement is based on Jeremiah 24:7, “I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all of their heart.”
