If you could star in any movie, which would you choose?
What would the title of your biography be?
Someone has to say it; the things I have learned from speaking up
Favorite unpopular snack?
Did you know you can make chocolate "pudding" using avocados? Because you can.
How did you come to work at 24:7?
Through an online job posting. I was working at a university and was volunteering in women's and college ministry and was looking for any opportunity to get into full-time ministry so, when I saw this job (Women's Director for 24:7 College Ministry), needless to say I jumped at the chance!
What can instantly make your day better?
A good pun. And/or cats.
Who's one person (dead or alive) you'd want to spend an uninterrupted hour of time with and what would you do?
My Grandmother. I would like to have cake and coffee with her and listen about her life and how she lived it. I get to hear snip-its as my dad gets older and she sounds like a strong, phenomenal woman.
How is Jesus growing you in faith right now?
Convincing me of the goodness of God - again. I am seeing that in how God withholds nothing that is best so, what I have, where I am, what I do - it's the best right now. There is much hope and purpose in that because it's not unintentional - it is intentional. So trusting that over and over again is helping me to believe God is good in all ways.
What's your favorite part of working with college students?
Seeing them grasp things that have taken me 30+ years to get! The goodness of community, being known, repentance, singleness, the role of women leading, how to read and study the Bible, seeing them lead out of and grow into their gifts...so, really, many things I guess.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I lament the fact that I basically do not have a southern accent.
